Most of our guests travel from Bali by fast boat. Most fast boats depart from Padang Bai (East Bali), Serangan (South Bali) or Amed (North East Bali).
Which port you choose depends on your preference (longer trip by boat or car) and, of course, where you are staying at Bali. Most boat operators have a free hotel transfer to / from Bali’s main tourist areas in the ticket price included.
Tickets can be purchased online at the official website of the boat operator or at an online travel agent. It is also no problem to buy tickets during your stay in Bali.

Amed is located in north east side of Bali. From there you have the shortest crossing to the Gili Islands. Since this port is less busy due to its location, the boats are much smaller and usually do not offer the same comfort as the large boats departing Padang Bai.
